THE LIGHTEST EVER!
Even though steel spokes are used, AEONst is more than 113g lighter than AEON. — a 10% reduction in actual weight. When factoring in rotational mass, the equivalent weight reduction reaches about 138g, marking a difference of over 15% from the previous model. This significant weight savings translates to a more responsive ride and superior climbing performance with less power input, making AEON2(st) one of the lightest and most elite wheels in the world.    
 
LIGHTER MEANS FASTER
In testing, the AEONst-1130g demonstrated a 5.8-second time savings compared to the original AEON (1245g) over a 10km uphill segment (average 7% gradient, 25km/h speed, 250W average power). Over a 100km mixed course including two such climbs, total time savings reached 10.2 seconds. Average power output was reduced by 0.66W on climbs and 0.09W on flat terrain. Most notably, the total energy saved over the full course exceeded 2550J — a difference that can be decisive in uphill finishes or final sprint scenarios.
 
AERO TOROIDAL DESIGN
The aerodynamic performance of the AEONst has been improved over the previous AEON, thanks to its wider rim width and refined profile shape. In actual wind tunnel testing at 40 km/h with yaw angles ranging from 0 to 20 degrees, the original AEON recorded an average drag force of 3.597N, whereas the AEON2 achieved a reduced average drag of 3.444N — representing an aerodynamic improvement of approximately 4.25%.
 
VERIFIED SAFTY AND PERFORMANCE
The AEON2 has successfully passed the UCI Impact Test, ISO standards testing, and extensive field testing in various conditions, ensuring it can be used with confidence — whether in UCI-sanctioned pro races or everyday rides. While custom-built wheels may achieve lighter weights by using a few ultralight components, the AEON2 stands alone as a mass-produced wheel meticulously engineered for overall balance, not just weight reduction. It is the only production model of its kind from AVIIAV.
 
More Wider Rim. More Aggressive Riding.
The 2nd-generation AEON rim adopts a wide toroidal profile with a 30.5mm outer width, 23.2mm inner width, and 50mm rim depth. Aerodynamically optimized with over 4% improvement from the previous one, it also supports wider tires — up to 35c — thanks to the expanded internal bead width, enabling aggressive cornering like never before.
 
New Technology For New Rims.
In the previous carbon layup method, two layers of UD carbon were stacked at 90 degrees with an additional outer layer of 3K carbon. However, the newly introduced sandwich layup technique used in the AEONst incorporates a central layer of 3K carbon placed between two layers of ultra-light T-1000 carbon fiber, creating a three-layer composite structure. This innovation allows for a lighter rim while maintaining structural strength. As a result, the AEONst delivers the performance expected from a world-class lightweight wheel, enabling riders to experience both greater stability and a more aggressive, performance-driven ride.

SUPER STEEL SYNCHRO HUB
The Super Steel Synchro hub, utilizing high-performance steel bearings that offer rolling performance comparable to ceramic bearings, maintains its rolling performance even after prolonged use. Furthermore, the double-clutch ratchet hub structure transmits the rider's power directly to the wheel, providing reliable performance in any situation.
