ALDO2 is a wheel that uses AVIIAV's unique, patented Cheveron-Kammtail technology, disrupting airflow as it passes across the rim surface, reducing the resistance caused by the rotation of the spokes and weakening the viscosity of the air that drags the rim surface itself. This design reduces the overall drag of the wheel by more than 12%.

The effectiveness of ALDO2 has been proven through real-life wind tunnel tests. Test results show the lowest drag values in the comparative test crowd between 0 and 10 degrees of yaw angle at a speed of 11.11 m/s.

The ALDO2 is an amazing wheel that uses Toray's top-grade carbon T1100 as its base material and features an improved layup pattern and hub design to reduce weight by a whopping 20% compared to the previous ALDO model with virtually no decrease in strength, weighing only 1240g.
ALDO2 is our flagship model, and by using Toray T1100G carbon fiber, the highest grade carbon available, we've maximized the strength to weight ratio. T1100G carbon is a third-generation carbon that has 18% higher maximum tensile strength and 14% higher elasticity than our previously used T800 carbon. In addition, AVIIAV uses all carbon fibers directly supplied by Toray's Korean hq. Experience wheels made of genuine Toray carbon fiber that guarantees the world's highest level of quality.
The ALDO2's newest generation Aero Blade carbon spokes feature new hardware that allow not only for reduced weight but also completely hidden nipples. Traditional exposed nipples were a necessity with previous carbon spokes, but with this newest generation we can improve aerodynamics, save weight, and look even better than before!

RIM BEAD
ALDO's new optimized clincher bead, created through structural analysis, has a wider bead width from 20mm to 22mm, allowing for wider tires and more aggressive cornering.
The 2nd generation ceramic synchro hub with ceramic bearings that provide an extremely smooth ride is completely redesigned. The further improved clutch ratchet method reduces noise and makes torque transmission faster. In particular, the newly introduced spring guide ring fixes the spring position, allowing the ratchet gear to move faster and more accurately.

The newly introduced laser logo printing method can permanently maintain the original state of the logo without peeling or damage, and it is lighter and more durable than the existing PVC logo, and it creates a sense of luxury by becoming one with the surface of the product.

AVIIAV's patented special design of creating spoke holes from the rim forming stage prevents the loss of strength caused by breakage of carbon fibers that occurs during the conventional drilling process, and aligns the holes with the angle and position where the spoke tension occurs, minimizing unnecessary stress on the carbon rim and creating a rim with superior durability.

FINISH
ALDO has a Raw-Finish surface that is not coated or painted on the rim. Most rims require puttying and coating to hide the dirty rim surface. However, ALDO's rim have a very smooth surface from the time of just removed from mold , so no additional work is required. This finish has much higher durability and surface corrosion resistance than coated surfaces, so it can maintain a clean appearance for a long time.

Carbon rims of ALDO are handmade in Korea. Unlike other low-priced rims, they are not mass-produced, but are handmade one by one by engineers, so their quality and performance are incomparable.
AVIIAV uses ANSYS CFD software to design its products. ANSYS CFD software provides the most reliable simulation results in the CAE industry. It provides the most optimal results for deriving the optimal aerodynamic wheel shape through highly precise fluid flow analysis.
